Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical consultation to individuals with developmental disabilities, engaging with families, residential facilities, vocational programs, and schools as referred by DDS.
- Develop, implement, and monitor assessment and intervention strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Coordinate and conduct staff training to ensure best practices in behavioral support.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Behavioral Treatment Specialists to foster team expertise.
- Manage program fiscal resources effectively, maintaining compliance and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency evaluations and interventions as requested by DDS and authorized personnel.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide additional support and emergency services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field, or a BCBA/Master’s Degree with applicable credentials.
- Extensive knowledge of learning and behavior change principles.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with individuals experiencing severe behavioral challenges.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading behavioral teams.
- Compassionate, respectful approach to client care, with sensitivity to individual dignity.
- Valid driver’s license with access to an insured, operational vehicle for client transportation.
