Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify business needs and pain points.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of existing enterprise applications, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Create functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and testing criteria.
- Model business processes and data relationships using various diagramming tools.
- Work closely with architects and developers on API and system integration analysis.
- Serve as a vital communication link between technical teams and business units.
- Support Agile methodologies through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT validation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–10+ years as a Business or Systems Analyst in software engineering environments.
- Experience with complex enterprise applications and system integrations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, REST services, and JSON payloads.
- Proficiency in SQL, data mapping, and relational databases.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business language.
- Agile experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, or FinTech.
- Familiarity with diagramming tools like Miro, Visio, or Mermaid.js.
- Knowledge of BDD methodologies and legacy system documentation.
