Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care during daily activities such as bathing, toileting, meals, and mobility assistance
- Support individuals in developing communication, social, and life skills
- Ensure safety and well-being of all residents in the home
- Encourage participation in community activities and social outings
- Perform household tasks, including meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping
- Follow individualized care plans and contribute to achieving personal goals
- Advocate for the needs and rights of the individuals served
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality care
- Maintain accurate documentation of activities and progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with willingness to drive a passenger van
- Medication Administration Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, reliable, and motivated to support others
