The Behavior Services Coordinator (BCBA) is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavior support programs for adults receiving services across residential, day, and community-based settings. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered care through evidence-based practices, staff training, and regulatory compliance.
The Coordinator collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, supervises behavior staff, and uses data-driven strategies to promote positive behavioral outcomes and overall service effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyses
• Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Train and coach staff on behavioral strategies and crisis prevention
• Ensure fidelity of behavior plans across settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in meetings and intake processes
• Supervise behavior staff and support development
• Assist with hiring and onboarding
• Provide crisis intervention and on-call support
• Maintain proper documentation
• Uphold ethical and professional standards
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
• Master’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• BCBA certification required
• 3–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with ABA, PBS, and trauma-informed care preferred
Certifications & Licensure:
• Valid driver’s license
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
