Contract Length: 07-06-2026 to 01-08-2027 (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite) — Cleveland, OH / Buffalo, NY / Albany, NY (Central or Eastern time zones only)

Job Brief:
Develop, implement, and support Workday security solutions to enable secure, reliable, and efficient operations. Partner with technical and business stakeholders to maintain security configuration, troubleshoot issues, and support enhancements across assigned Workday environments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, configure, implement, and support Workday security solutions across assigned environments and business functions.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability; resolve issues affecting operations or user experience.
- Support Workday security audits and internal access control certification processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Analyze problems, identify root causes, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
- Apply information security standards in solution design/configuration/development; validate alignment with corporate Risk and IT Security policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce risk, or lower cost.
- Evaluate Workday releases/new features/leading practices and recommend adoption opportunities.
- Explain security dependencies, impacts, and constraints to technical and business stakeholders.
- Support Workday integrations, reporting, and data movement tools used within the platform.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and ongoing professional development.
Required Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 2+ years applied Workday experience supporting and configuring end-to-end security across Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Finance, and/or Procurement.
- Strong knowledge of the Workday security model (security groups, business process security, report security, integration security).
- Experience supporting Workday integrations, reporting, and data movement tools; EIB familiarity preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support releases (impact analysis, testing, release activities).
- Strong written/verbal communication; effective with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to create/maintain clear system documentation for technical and business audiences.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, integration frameworks, and single sign-on technologies.
- Workday Pro Certification preferred; Workday Prism Analytics experience preferred.
