Position Details:
- Job Title: Staff Nurse – Operating Room – Nights
- Location: Anderson, SC
- Work Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 40 hours per week
- Pay Range: $26 – $45 per hour, depending on experience
- Pay Type: Hourly, bi-weekly
Key Responsibilities:
- Circulate OR cases, excluding Open Heart surgeries, ensuring all protocols and safety standards are meticulously followed
- Assist surgical teams with case preparation and equipment setup
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs through the nursing process
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients of diverse backgrounds and ages
- Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families to develop and execute comprehensive care plans
- Manage multiple patients, using independent judgment, effective communication, and teamwork to achieve optimal outcomes
- Maintain a sterile and organized operating environment, adhering to all safety and infection control standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
- Graduate Nurses meeting SC LLR criteria are encouraged to apply
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates must enroll in a BSN program within 18 months and complete it within 4 years
- BLS certification required; hospital-provided BLS course must be completed within 90 days of hire
