Join Our Premier Oncology Team as a Radiation Therapist

In this crucial role, you will deliver accurate radiotherapy treatments, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.
Required Skills:
- Certified by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association and ARRT Radiation Therapy Certification
- Expertise in radiation physics, radiation interaction, and radiation protection principles including ALARA
- Proficient in operating therapeutic equipment, immobilization techniques, and beam modifying devices such as dynamic wedges
- Strong attention to detail for verifying physician-prescribed treatments and maintaining thorough treatment records
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Skilled in monitoring patient progress and reporting complications promptly
- Experience in maintaining equipment and adhering to quality assurance protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supervising students or trainees in Radiation Oncology
- Knowledge of inventory control and supply management within a clinical setting
- Additional patient care or oncology-related certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in delivering radiotherapy treatments in a clinical or hospital setting is highly desirable
- A solid understanding of departmental QA programs and patient follow-up procedures
Other Requirements:
- Ability to perform morning machine checks and ensure equipment functionality
- Willingness to participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives and inventory management
