Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of daily operations at the Bozrah site, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and support direct care staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team.
- Coordinate and implement programs tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Attend treatment meetings, document care plans, and monitor progress.
- Communicate effectively with families, guardians, external agencies, and team members to support client needs.
- Oversee transportation logistics and vehicle safety protocols.
- Conduct internal quality audits and assist with regulatory inspections and budget oversight.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in healthcare settings.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in program development and staff training.
- Bilingual skills or additional languages to serve diverse populations.
- Certification in crisis intervention or staff training programs.
- Knowledge of Medicaid and related regulatory requirements.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to coordinate transportation and enforce vehicle safety protocols.
- Participate in budget management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance efforts.
