Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Coordinate client medical and psychiatric assessments, treatment plans, and medication management
  • Serve as a liaison between clinicians, pharmacies, and external healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive care
  • Conduct health histories, evaluations, and emergency medical assessments as needed
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practice models
  • Provide ongoing medical education and training to staff
  • Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical encounters within required timelines
  • Offer on-call support for after-hours and weekend admissions
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and monitor positive outcomes within the program

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut Registered Nurse license (RN)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in mental health or addiction settings
  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, and community treatment models
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality (HIPAA), and client-centered care
